Today I will share with you the solution to replace the encrypted battery of iPhone 11 Pro max without pop-up window showing health status. It is also
applicable to all current Apple iPhone XR and above models.
How do I know if the battery needs to be replaced?
How to check the battery health:
Settings-Battery-Battery Health-Maximum Capacity, you can see the battery health.
Apple phones use lithium-ion batteries, which take about 500 times to be fully charged, and discharge basically cannot meet the use of Apple phones.
Mobile phone batteries are consumables, and the design life is generally not more than 3 years. After a long charging cycle, the probability of battery
swelling increases. In order to prolong the battery life, high performance, and for safety, it is necessary to replace the battery when the maximum
capacity of the mobile phone battery reaches or falls below 80%.
When the battery of iPhone XR and above models is replaced, a pop-up window will appear for 15 days when the phone is turned on, prompting
“Unable to verify whether the iPhone battery is an original Apple battery. There is no health information for this battery.” But after 15 days,
the pop-up window will disappear automatically. And “Repair” will be displayed in the battery health column. To solve this problem, we only need
to replace the protective plate on the original battery with a new battery.
iPhone 11 Pro max replacement encrypted battery method/notes:
When disassembling the phone screen, you can drip alcohol into the gap between the screen and the back cover to soften the screen glue, but do not drip
it on the face to avoid facial damage, only drip it around.
Be sure to turn off the power before disassembly, otherwise it will burn the motherboard, surface, screen, etc. Be sure to tighten the screws well,
pay attention to the size of the screws, placement, etc.
The iPhone 11 Promax battery clip is a protective plate consisting of two connectors, one at the bottom. Pull out the battery cable clip and the battery
glue (3 battery glues, top, bottom and right) to remove the battery. The battery glue is relatively long. If the operation is interrupted, you can drop a little
99% industrial alcohol, or you can also drop 95% medical alcohol, and you can easily remove the battery after a while.
Replace the battery
Remove the protective board. First, tear off the black sticker on the surface, remove the fixing bracket, expose the positive and negative poles of
the protective board, and cut off the battery protective board. Be careful not to bend it and do not break it.
After replacing the battery cell cleaning protection board cable, spot weld the new battery cell and the removed original battery protection board cable
together with a welding machine. After welding, fold the cable, and then fix it with a fixing bracket and black sticker, so that the battery cable can be moved.

Note: The position must be folded in place, otherwise the battery will not fit into the phone.
Before reinstalling the battery, it is recommended that you test whether the battery is charging normally, because the iPhone 11Pro max has two protective
board cables, unlike other iPhone models. After the test is normal, stick the battery glue and put the battery back.
If you do not repair it, it is not recommended to do it yourself!
iPhoneXR~iPhone12ProMax can replace the battery core according to the above method to solve the problem of not displaying health and battery
pop-up window. It’s just that the battery encryption of iPhone11~12ProMax cannot change the data, and the number of battery cycles and health
cannot be adjusted manually (not the small board to change the parameters), but it can be calibrated through multiple cycles.
Cycle calibration method:
Use the phone to 1%, then discharge the battery, and then charge it again, and repeat. Use the phone until it is out of power, then charge it fully,
and then charge it for one or two hours. This is a complete cycle.
Remember to use dead electricity, and then let the battery record the complete playback process, so that it will be calibrated slowly.
